Angela Richardson

Faculty

“I value the sense of community that comes with being involved in not just the Behavioral Health clinic, but in every aspect of the lives of the people I serve. The cohesiveness, or the bond that is felt when family, friends, and community come together in order to strengthen one another in times of need, is truly an integral part of help and healing.”

Angela Richardson, M.Ed., LPC has served as the Behavioral Health Program Coordinator for the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas for almost four years. She is currently serving as the Tribal Behavioral Health representative for Federally Recognized Tribes in Texas, on the State of Texas Behavioral Health Advisory Committee, by appointment of the HHS Executive Commissioner. Angela highly regards and appreciates the emphasis placed on continuing education for all employees of the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas. This enables her to pursue her passion to provide and/or participate in educational and preventive efforts in the community and beyond.
