Sujata Joshi and Heidi Lovejoy, epidemiologists at the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board, speak about SUD data collection efforts at tribal epidemiology centers across Indian Country. They provide sources of data for tribes at the local and national levels and share relevant data from Washington state and the Pacific Northwest.

Sujata Joshi, MSPH, is the Project Director of the Improving Data & Enhancing Access (IDEA-NW) project. Sujata received her MSPH with a concentration in epidemiology from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Prior to joining the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board in 2013, she served as an epidemiologist at the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona Tribal Epidemiology Center and as an environmental epidemiologist for the State of Oregon.

Heidi Lovejoy, MSc, is a Substance Use Disorder Epidemiologist at the Northwest Portland Indian Health Board.
