This program provides comprehensive information to support Indian Health Service, Tribal, and Urban Indian clinicians to to increase access to care for American Indian and Alaska Native pregnant people by providing best practices for prenatal and postpartum care across all care settings in addition to resources for patient and staff support. The program will offer a free ECHO collaborative to continue learning, knowledge sharing and support during virtual ECHO clinics focused on safe, quality prenatal and postpartum care. Topics include incorporation of traditional birthing practices, how to deliver prenatal and postpartum care in the primary care, behavioral health, emergency, or community setting, and how to transition from postpartum to primary care.

The Community Health Aid Program (CHAP) ECHO Learning Collaborative is designed to bridge the gap between traditional practices and modern standards of care through bringing together several types of practitioners, including Dental Health Aide Therapists (DHATs), Behavioral Health Aides and Practitioners (BHA/Ps), and Community Health Aides and Practitioners (CHA/Ps). Sessions are open to all, but advanced registration is recommended.

The program will offer a free ECHO collaborative to continue learning, knowledge sharing and support during virtual ECHO clinics focused on support for caregivers in the challenges they face in caring for individuals with dementia, including challenging behaviors, caregiver self-care, care planning and navigation, financial and physical safety, and mobilizing family resources.

Reclaiming Native Psychological Brilliance
Native Psychological Brilliance refers to the intelligence, strengths, balance, innate resources, and resilience of Native people. This no-cost telehealth series will be held throughout 2022 on the fourth Tuesday of every month @ 11:00 am Pacific/12:00 pm Mountain/1:00 pm Central/2:00 pm Eastern. Each session will be one hour in length that will provide an opportunity for participants to gain skills on strength-based approaches in partnership with Native People to enhance Native behavioral health, discuss ways that Native brilliance is demonstrated and supports behavioral health, and learn about Native brilliance examples to share with behavioral health and other health care staff, as well as with local Tribal Nation citizens. The concept of Native psychological brilliance will be highlighted through Native music videos and Native spoken word performances as part of each session of the Reclaiming Native Psychological Brilliance series.
