Ending the Syndemic: Syphilis Training

Staff serving American Indian & Alaska Native people were invited to participate in the Ending the Syndemic: Syphilis virtual training. The 2.5-hour virtual training program provided comprehensive information to effectively integrate best practice syphilis care and response for Indigenous communities.

In this series of presentations, multidisciplinary faculty highlight best practices for responding to the rise of syphilis and congenital syphilis in Indigenous communities. An I/T/U clinic also shares their story of how their facility recognizes, responds to and prevents syphilis.

The 2.5-hour training includes an opportunity to engage in didactic presentations, become part of a learning community, and join an Infectious Disease ECHO program. Free CE is available.
