Ms. Eaglehorse-Ortiz has dedicated her life in Maternal Child health for over 20 years as a Community Health Worker, Full Circle Doula, Lactation Educator, and Breastfeeding Peer Counselor. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Oregon Inter-Tribal Breastfeeding Coalition from 2013-2020. Her focus this session will center on infant feeding – human milk for human babies and first foods; her passion is grounded in understanding how to support families in navigating medical systems to get them off to a good start.
