Biography

Jess Spohn (they/them) is the Crisis Services Director at Santa Fe Recovery Center, serving McKinley and Santa Fe counties, and a Board Member with InsideOut Advocacy. They are an independently licensed social worker and addictions counselor in New Mexico (LCSW, LADAC), a Board-approved supervisor, and hold Master’s degrees in Public Health and Social Work. Jess is a Doctor of Social Work candidate at Simmons University, focusing on social justice with trans and nonbinary identities, graduating in May 2025. Jess identifies as nonbinary, queer, and neurosparkly. They have over a decade of experience in mental and behavioral health, and specialize in administration and supervision, crisis continuum efforts, LGBTQ+ identities, and interventions for those experiencing addictions and recovery, housing instability, and severe mental illness.
