Chiao-Wen Lan, PhD, MPH is an epidemiologist for the Northwest Tribal Epidemiology Center, housed within the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board. Dr. Lan is involved in AI/AN public health surveillance and provides technical assistance to improve the quality of life of AI/AN communities and reduce racial and health disparities. Dr. Lan’s work focuses on substance misuse, mental health, access to care, and health disparities among a wide variety of vulnerable populations.
