Dr. Jasen Christensen, DO

Dr. Jasen Christensen, DO, is an associate professor and psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.Dr. Christensen received undergraduate degrees in Cellular/Molecular Biology and German Language from Humboldt State University (now Cal Poly Humboldt) in 1999. He earned the degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in 2006. He completed a residency in psychiatry at the University of New Mexico in 2010. His past work in psychiatry has included positions with the US Public Health Service (at an IHS service unit), inpatient and PES at a county psychiatric hospital, and integrated psychiatry at a community health center (FQHC). He is board certified in psychiatry (ABPN) and addiction medicine (ABPM).
