Dr. Jessica Gregg, Associate Professor of Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University, reviews the diagnostic criteria for substance use disorders and examines the different ways in which substance use disorders can develop.

Jessica Gregg, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, her medical degree from the University of New Mexico, and her doctorate in medical anthropology from Emory University. She is board certified in internal medicine and addiction medicine. At OHSU, Dr. Gregg serves as the Director of the university’s addiction medicine ECHO clinics, as Associate Program Director for OHSU’s addiction medicine fellowship, and as Medical Director of the OHSU HRBR clinic, which provides low-barrier MAT to vulnerable adults. She also provides clinical care on IMPACT, OHSU’s inpatient addiction medical consult service.
