Avery S. Old Coyote
Avery S. Old Coyote, MA (Crow & Salish) is a Native scholar, outdoors enthusiast, and activist. Growing up, Avery split his time between the Flathead Reservation and the Crow Nation Reservation. He currently works as a Faculty Instructor for the Multicultural Center at Lane Community College. Avery is an experienced river guide, and mentored youth in the Native Teen Guide in Training program. He also previously developed the card game “Cards for Decolonization”.
