Minimally Invasive Dentistry: Safe and Effective use of Silver Diamine Fluoride and Povidone Iodine | May 10, 2023

Date of Presentation: May 10, 2023

In this series of presentations, Dr. Miranda Davis, DDS, MPH discusses a case of a pediatric high caries risk patient submitted by Marissa Gardner, DHAT. Then, Dr. Sean Kelly, DDS, MSHS, provides an overview of Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) and Povidone Iodine (PI) including their safety, effectiveness, application, and recommended follow-up.

The one-hour Oral Health ECHO virtual clinics offer clinicians an opportunity to present cases, receive recommendations from peers and an interprofessional team of specialists working in Indian Country, engage in a didactic presentation, obtain CDE, and become part of a learning community. Together, we will manage patient cases so that every patient gets the care they need.
