In this presentation, Jared Etl, former TCHP Communication Coordinator at the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board, shares on cultural health, what it is, and how we interact with it. There have been many sacrifices and the suffering that was endured to have sovereignty. Particularly, for many tribes across this continent. How do we move forward as tribes in today’s world where the future is uncertain? Moreover, how do we get our tribes to overcome the survival mentality and exercise self-sustainable methods in tribal knowledge.
